Irish fans may find it painful but the rest of the world’s eyes will be firmly on this evening’s World Cup group stages draw, which gets underway at 5 o’ clock.
The International Convention Centre in Cape Town is the venue for the draw to see who meets who in South Africa next Summer.
The 32 qualified countries will be drawn into 8 groups of 4 teams.
There’s 4 pots for the draw, with Pot 1 containing the top 8 seeds.
Pot 1: South Africa, Brazil, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Argentina, England.
Pot 2: Japan, South Korea, North Korea, Australia, New Zealand, United States, Mexico, Honduras.
Pot 3: Ivory Coast, Ghana, Cameroon, Nigeria, Algeria, Paraguay, Chile, Uruguay.
Pot 4: France, Portugal, Slovenia, Switzerland, Greece, Serbia, Denmark, Slovakia.
