Ireland fans were left cursing France’s luck yet again after yesterday’s World Cup group stages draw.
Raymond Domenech’s men were landed in one of the easier groups- Group A- alongside hosts South Africa, Mexico and Uruguay.
All neutrals will be looking to Group G-or the group of death- for excitement, where Brazil, Portugal and the Ivory Coast will fight it out to progress.
But England should have an easy passage to the last 16 after being drawn in Group C, where they’ll meet the USA, Algeria & Slovenia.
The groups in full are:
Group A – South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay, France
Group B – Argentina, South Korea, Nigeria, Greece
Group C – England, United States, Algeria, Slovenia
Group D – Germany, Australia, Ghana, Serbia
Group E – Netherlands, Japan, Cameroon, Denmark
Group F – Italy (holders), New Zealand, Paraguay, Slovakia
Group G – Brazil, North Korea, Ivory Coast, Portugal
Group H – Spain, Honduras, Chile, Switzerland
