John Hayes previously worked as a journalist before landing the job of co-hosting SPIN South West's daily talk show, SPIN Talk. Always with his finger on the cultural pulse, John also works as a DJ.
Little known fact: John is currently the pun King of SPIN South West!

Muireann O'Connell's background in radio is more associated with music rather than talk. She began her SPIN South West career as the presenter of music show The Late Shift. Muireann moved to daytime in July 2008 as a co-host of SPIN Talk.
Little Known fact: Muireann has a pathalogical hatred of ducks.

Remember bum bags, ugg boots, the mullet, tamagotchis, the Macarena, cabbage patch kids, and all the other fads that took off, lasted about 5 months and then died a painful and quick death. Well we want to know what ones you remember, like pokemon, swatch watches, or David Beckham’s curtains hairstyle.
Then there was tie-dying, lava lamps and countless diet trends. The list goes on. But which ones can you recall?
And which ones were you into yourself, was it ravers clothes, God awful parachute pants? Or the worst of all, the crazy frog ringtone!

Ok, this guy in the UK woke up from a dream, and scribbled down the image of a girl who he says was in his dream, and is his dream girl. Now, if you want to check out the picture, get onto our website. But we want to know what would be the assets of your dream partner.
Would they have amazing eyes, tight buns but oversized lips, or would they be a leggy blond with an amazing figure.
Would they have a rugby players body, would they have a good sense of humour or personality, or would they be a skinny but funny!
Maybe they would have a nice job, it might have a uniform, like a nurse! Or have short little legs, with red hair and Pamelas bust?

Well, if you were born in the 80’s there’s a chance that you got away without committing some of the most heinous fashion crimes of your life as you were only a wee babe, but what about those of us who are that little bit older. What do you remember about the decade that put a perm on everything?

You may not know it but today is one of the most important days in the calendar for world peace. It’s world hello day.
It has been observed since 1973 in response to the conflict between Israel and Egypt. 31 winners of the Nobel peace prize all acknowledge the importance of this day. Who knew saying hello could be so important.
Today is a day that people are encouraged to say hello to ten people. Simple. Or is it? Today we want to know do you ever say hello on the street to random strangers? Have we forgotten how to be friendly?
