The wheels may have been set in motion for the removal of Justin McCarthy as Limerick senior hurling manager.
It’s reported that up to 8 clubs have submitted letters to the board secretary Mike O’Riordan requestìng a special meeting be arranged. Garryspilllane were the first club to submit a request.
At least 5 clubs have to submit requests in order for the green light to be given to a special county board meeting.
At this meeting a vote on McCarthy’s leadership is likely to take place.
