Munster End ‘09 With Easy Win

Munster have rounded off 2009 with a comfortable 35-3 win over Connacht at Thomond Park.

The four-try win gave Munster a bonus point which moves them up to third in the Magners League table.

Tony McGahan’s men scored two tries in either half, courtesy of Ian Dowling, Damien Varley, Paul Warwick and Jean de Villiers.

That’s the second time in six days that de Villiers has touched down for a late, bonus point clinching try.
