With Valentine’s fast approaching, love is in the air around here. There have been flowers delivered to the office, the spinis are laden down with chocolates, and the cheesy songs are making a brief appearance on air.

One man was feeling a little left out though…. Seamus told me he’d never gotten a Valentine from someone he wasn’t actually going out with. Aaaaw…

So this morning I wrote him a Valentine’s poem. He didn’t say much, I think he was just speechless with appreciation…

A Valentine for Seamus Barry

We like you better than Tom Dick or Harry

You wake up the South West with a smile on your face

And so now we’re telling you that you’re ace

Getting a colonic and eating a snail,

The least you deserve is a Valentines mail

So we won’t slag you off or call you a dork,

In fact the worst thing we could say is, it sucks to be from cork
