Police in France say three people have been killed and around a dozen wounded after a gunman took hostages at a supermarket.

It happened at a shop in the southern town of Trebes.

Police have now stormed the supermarket and the gunman has also been shot dead.

It's reported he pledged allegiance to terrorist group Islamic State.
