The Met Police in the UK have confirmed they're treating an explosion on an underground train in London as a terrorist incident.

Earlier, reports emerged of a 'flash' and a 'blast on the train at Parson's Green station on the District Line.

Counter-terrorism units were called to the scene, and police are now investigating if the blast was a terrorist attack.

It's understood several people have suffered burns in the incident.
