JNLR results released today for the period April to June 2018 has positioned SPIN South West as the No.1 radio station in the South West region, commanding a market share of 11.5% (+0.1% BoB) and a weekly audience of 149,000 (34%).
SPIN South West, based in Limerick and broadcasting to Limerick, Kerry, Clare, North Tipperary and South West Laois now commands this No.1 position for 15-34s across each of its counties across prime-time market share, listened to yesterday figures and weekly reach figures.
Impressively, in the South West region, more adults listen to SPIN SW (149,000) than RTE Radio 1.
In Limerick, SPIN South West has regained its No.1 Market Share position among the 15-34-year-old audience - now at 33.9% (+2.5%), overtaking 2FM. In Kerry, Clare and North Tipperary, SPIN South West also holds the top spot for 20-44s on market share and weekly reach.
Within the SPIN South West daytime line up, there were impressive gains for breakfast show Fully Charged with Ed & Meghan, as they grew their audience by 3,000, now entertaining 33,000 listeners each morning.
Meanwhile, evening show The Zoo Crew with Valerie Wheeler saw a huge jump gaining 9,000 new listeners to bring Valerie’s audience to 24,000 – 11,000 more than this time last year.
