A man has been found guilty of murdering the manager of a pub in Dublin's north inner city almost two years ago.

Michael Barr (35) was shot dead at the Sunset House pub on April 25th, 2016.

30 year old Eamonn Cumberton, of Mountjoy Street, Dublin 7 had denied the murder.

This afternoon, the three Judges at the Special Criminal Court convicted Mr. Cumberton of murder.

Judge Tony Hunt described it as a deliberate killing which involved a number of people.

Today's ruling marks the first conviction for a murder which has been linked to the ongoing gangland feud in Dublin.
