Movie producer Harvey Weinstein is currently facing three additional charges related to alleged sexual misconduct.
back in May, Weinstein was indicted on rape and criminal sex charges. A grand jury in New York confirmed the charges against the Hollywood producer despite him waiving his right to appear before the panel.
The Guardian reported that Weinstein was charged yesterday by the Manhattan district attorney Cyrus Vance Jr with an additional count of criminal sexual act in the first degree, two counts of predatory sexual assault and an alleged forcible sexual act in 2006.
These new charges are in addition to those of two counts of rape and one of a criminal sexual act contained in May’s indictment. Weinstein will now be arraigned in court next week.
