The ex-boyfriend of TOWIE's Ferne McCann has been jailed for 20 years.

Arthur Collins was given the sentence, after carrying out an acid attack in Mangle nightclub in April this year.

6 people suffered chemical burn injuries and 3 people were temporary blinded. At least 22 people reported injuries after the attack.

According to the Daily Mail, the jury at London's Wood Green Crown Court convicted Arthur of five counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and nine counts of bodily harm last month.

Judge Noel Lucas described it as 'a deliberate and calculated attack'.

Sky News report that Collins admitted to throwing the bottle of fluid over club-goers, and that he said he thought it was a date rape drug which he had snatched from two men.

He will spend 20 years in jail, with a further five years spent on licence.

On November 2nd, Arthur's ex Ferne gave birth to their daughter Sunday.
