Will.i.am spoke to entertainment magazine Ahlan! where he broke the news saying:

"Since the beginning of Black Eyed Peas, we've always had amazing vocalists that appeared on the mic with us''.

"Obviously Fergie was the featured female, but on songs like 'Let's Get it Started,' it's Noelle [Scaggs], and then Fergie, songs like 'Latin Girls,' it's Debi Nova, and 'Request Line,' it's Macy Gray. We'll always work with good females."

As for who could replace Fergie full-time, rumors are looking at former Pussycat Doll Nicole Schwerzinger!

But  will.i.am did confirm in the interview Scherzinger is not part of their next project saying he didn't:

"want to go into details how she's involved yet".

Will Nicole replace Fergie we'll just have to wait and see!
