A 38-year-old woman who was arrested in connection with an assault on Brian Casey in Ennis in Co, Clare has been released without charge.
The 26-year-old from Lisseycasey in Clare died in hospital after being attacked on St. Stephen’s night in Ennis.

He had suffered a fractured skull and internal bleeding – a post mortem will be carried out later.
Meanwhile, two men who appeared in court yesterday charged in connection with the assault are due in court again today.
29-year-old Harry Dinan with an address at Waterpark Heights in Ennis and his nephew, 22-year-old Kevin Dinan of Clarehill, Clarecastle have been charged with assault causing harm.
