The Green’s have finally confirmed the existence
of an internal party agreement which could see
John Gormley step down from his ministry.

The Taoiseach Brian Cowen has said he’s still in
discussions about the reshuffle and he’s refused
to say if he will be moving Minister Gormley out of his department.
Energy Minister Eamon Ryan agrees Brian Cowen
will have the final call, but he explained the “musical chairs”
deal was part of a Green party agenda to inovate in politics.
