Thousands are expected to flock to Co Clare for The Sky Ride Etape Hibernia.

Details of the country’s first closed road cycle event were announced today. 

The event will take place over an 80-mile course in County Clare on Sunday, August 22nd 2010.

The event was launched today in The Armada Hotel, Spanish Point, Co Clare.
