Paul McCartney has spilled the beans on what it was like writing music with Kanye West.

Back when the pair released Four Five Seconds with Rihanna, everyone was wondering one thing - what the hell do did those two talk about when they were in studio?!

Paul was chatting to Tim Minchin in a Facebook Live interview and said that making music with Kanye West was an 'intriguing process.'

He revealed how the collaboration happened, and it's as random as you'd imagine.

Paul said 'I got a phonecall from my manager and he said "Kanye West would like to work with you" and I go yeah we'l do it.'

He also admitted that he was a 'little nervous at first' and thought that it 'could go horribly wrong.'

Lucky for everyone, the track was a tune.
