He has been sentenced to a year in jail after admitting gun charges.
The 27 year old was found with a loaded weapon on his tour bus in 2007.
The Grammy award winner had expected a prison term and had already said goodbye to fans online and at recent concerts.
It’s thought he’ll spend most of his time in prison separated from other inmates.
