After Britney Speares' disastrous 2007 VMA performance of 'Gimme More' she received an onslaught of abuse from haters. One 19 year old who came to her rescue was Chris Crocker who decided that sharing an extremely emotional video on the internet would help his icon.
Unfortunately this was not the case and in fact the video went viral and he became a victim of similar haters. If you haven't seen the video before take a look;

Today is the 10th anniversary of the video and to mark the occasion, Chris has taken the opportunity to explain his reasons behind it and to give some advice to young people who may come into his situation.
