It's been quite a great year for JK Rowling after she released the script for stage play The Cursed Child and she also wrote the script for new film franchise, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.
Well her year's looking even better now as she has been announced as the worlds highest-paid author.
According to Digital Spy, the author of the Harry Potter novels, comes in as earning nearly €80 million and beating America's James Patterson and author of the Fifty Shades Series, E.L. James.
The Cursed Child was a very successful book for Rowling, and was Ireland's best selling book last year. It also sold more than 680,000 print copies in the UK in the first three days.
The last time the author topped the highest-paid list was nearly 10 years ago when she released the final Harry Potter book, The Deathly Hallows.
