He's made the first move, now it's up to the TV networks to respond.

With the cancellation of the show 'Roseanne' on the ABC network after some controversial tweets during the week, Charlie Sheen took the opportunity to call for a comeback of his sitcom 'Two and a Half Men.'

Roseanne Barr's show was axed after she made racist remarks on Twitter about former Obama administration official Valerie Jarrett.

Sheen took to Twitter to share his thoughts:

The show itself ran 12 series between 2003 and 2012, but it wasn't all plain sailing as Sheen himself was famously fired after series seven.

Ashton Kutcher replaced Sheen alongside John Cryer, and it seemed that Cryer didn't completely dismiss the idea:

Something has to fill the slot that 'Roseanne' has left, and if nothing else, it's clear that Sheen has made his mind up on what he'd like.
