Calvin Harris has been reflecting on his past actions on Twitter.

His fifth studio album Funk Wav Bounces Vol 1 was released today, and ahead of its release Calvin has been doing some press.

He did an interview with British GQ, where he dicussed music and of course, his past relationship with Taylor Swift.

Last year when the pair broke up, Calvin went on an angry Twitter rant, where he slammed Taylor. It has since been deleted.

Calvin said 'It was completely the wrong instinct. I was protecting what I see as my one talent in the world being belittled. It felt like things were piling on top of me and that was when I snapped.'

According to reports, at the time of the Twitter rant, Calvin and Taylor were in a dispute over his track This Is What You Came For. Taylor wrote and sung lyrics on it under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg, and she publicly revealed that it was her.

Taylor has since moved on with British actor Joe Aldwyn, and has been staying very much out of the spotlight.
