Ariana Grande has changed the name of the song "Pete" on her upcoming album, Sweetener, which was written about her fiancé Pete Davidson- but rest assured all is okay in paradise!
The singer decided to add his last name to the track and when asked by a fan on Twitter, Ari decided to return to the platform to respond:
i like the way it looks
i love his name and i love him
music lasts forever. it’ll outlive any tattoo, any memory, any anything, even myself so i want my love for him and how i feel to be a part of that— Ariana Grande (@ArianaGrande) July 30, 2018
Fans initially did not know how to feel when they found out there would be a track dedicated to the SNL star, to which Ariana responded to a doubtful fan on Instagram saying: "He's my fiancé. This is my album. I'm an honest and emotional artist and human being and if my openness in my work isn't for you, that's OK."
