There's reports that Adele fears that the damage to her vocal cords may be permanent.
Over the weekend, it emerged that Adele had to cancel her last two shows in Wembley Arena due to vocal cord damage. She was devastated about it, and released a statement to apologise to her fans.

According to The Sun, an insider told them that Adele fears that the damage is permanent.
She previously had throat difficulties in 2011 and had to undergo surgery in the United States. Adele had reportedly suffered bronchitis in the lead up to the four nights in Wembley Arena and told the crowd on Thursday night 'It feels like I’ve got a dead rat in my throat.'
When Adele cancelled, many fans were tweeting their well wishes to her.
