Imagine a world where wine was on tap...
Although it sounds like the stuff of dreams, for the lucky folk of Italy, it is a reality.
A couple of years ago, a local vineyard in Abruzzo installed a fountain that pours red wine instead of water. The fountain is also free to drink from, as long as you bring your own glass or bottle of course.
The fountain is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with anyone invited to take a drink.
The vineyard have stressed that the fountain is encouraged as a 'meeting place for pilgrims and wine lovers', and not a place for 'drunkards and louts'.
Time to book a flight to Italy!
