Cork & Galway Name Teams For Hurling Semi-Final
Cyril Donnellan has been included in the Galway team for Sunday’s All-Ireland semi-final against Cork at Croke Park.
Galway manager Antony Cunningham has named an unchanged team from the side that upset Kilkenny in the Leinster final.
Donnellan is thought to be a major doubt after he chipped a bone in his arm during a training match, but he’s been named at wing-forward alongside Niall and David Burke.
Galway SH team to play Cork: 1. James Skehill; 2. David Collins, 3. Kevin Hynes, 4. Fergal Moore; 5. Niall Donoghue, 6. Tony Og Regan, 7. Johnny Coen; 8. Iarlaith Tannian, 9. Andy Smyth; 10. David Burke, 11. Niall Burke, 12. Cyril Donnellan; 13. Conor Cooney, 14. Joe Canning, 15. Damien Hayes.
Cork boss Jimmy Barry Murphy has made two changes for that game.
Conor Lehane replaces Niall McCarthy at corner forward while Lorcan McLoughlin replaces Daniel Kearney at midfield, but veteran wing-back Seán Óg Ó hAilpín has retained his place in the side.
