‘Breaking Bad’ Creator Plays Down Movie Speculation!

‘Breaking Bad’ creator Vince Gilligan has played down speculation that there’ll be a movie version of the hit show.

Gilligan reckons rumours of a big screen outing came from the show’s star Bryan Cranston’s “enthusiasm” in an interview with Deadline.

Gilligan says:

“I think those rumours are coming from him,”

“All I could tell you is, never say never, but it is definitely not on my mind at the moment.”

He added that his main focus is on the last 16 episodes of the award winning series.

“If we’ve got enough story left over for a movie then, then who am I to say no?”

 ”But I can tell you it’s not on my mind in the least little way at the moment.”

The first episode of the fifth season of Breaking Bad aired in the States on Sunday night:
